Welcome to the RAC Route Planner – making it easy for you to plan routes, get traffic updates and calculate your mileage.
Our route finder service offers driving directions and maps for the UK, Europe and beyond. You can get live route planning, with real-time traffic updates. The Maps feature allows you to find hotels, garages and car dealerships by location or along your route. The RAC map also shows weather information for the UK, so you can plan your journey based on the driving conditions.
Using Traffic News, you can spot traffic jams by location, as well as identify issues along a planned route. We've also added a separate section called Mileage Calculator, to help you work out how much journeys cost, what you can claim back in business mileage, and information about your CO2 emissions. And if you use the myRAC app, you can also find the cheapest local fuel and save on all your journeys!
