When you invite a friend to join the RAC, you’ll both receive a £25 M&S gift card to spend after they join.
 

How to invite a friend

  1. Enter your details below, and your friend’s details too
  2. Your friend will receive an email letting them know what to do
  3. They'll need to call 0800 015 8807, quoting MGMWEB and your membership number
  4. When they join, you’ll both receive a £25 M&S gift card

What happens next?

Once we’ve set your friend up with their breakdown cover, we’ll send both of you a gift card. They'll arrive around 30 days after your friend's 14 day cooling-off period, as long as:

  • You haven’t cancelled your RAC membership
  • Your friend hasn’t cancelled their RAC membership
  • Payment has been collected for your friend's membership

To qualify for an M&S gift card worth £25 each for both you and your friend, please note the following terms and conditions:

  1. You must have RAC breakdown cover and your membership must be active. 
  2. Your friend must purchase breakdown cover at RAC on a 12 month pay upfront or pay monthly basis. Roadside Only or Basic cover is not eligible.
  3. Excludes purchases of European only cover.
  4. Your friend must have purchased their cover directly from the RAC over the phone with an RAC representative, rather than through a bank, insurer, supermarket, comparison site or other 3rd party. To refer a friend, enter your details and your friend’s details on the form via www.rac.co.uk/members/recommend-a-friend. Your friend will then receive an email and will need to call 08000 158807, quote your membership number and quote MGMWEB.
  5. Provided you and your friend have not exercised your rights to cancel these policies during the cooling off period and payment has been successfully taken, you will both qualify for a £25 M&S gift card. We aim to issue the gift cards within 30 days of assessing whether you and your friend qualify for this offer.
  6. In the unlikely event that the M&S gift cards become unavailable, a suitable substitute of equal or greater value will be supplied. Cash alternatives are not available.
  7. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion, cash-back or voucher offer being run by RAC or any of its partners.
  8. RAC reserves the right to cancel any policies or gift cards if we discover the terms of the offer are being abused.
  9. This offer may be withdrawn at any time.
